Unicode details

⤷ is the Unicode character named ARROW POINTING DOWNWARDS THEN CURVING RIGHTWARDS, code point U+2937, in the Supplemental Arrows-B block. It was added in Unicode 3.2 in 2002, and Unicode classes it as a maths symbol (general category Sm).

It is not an emoji, so it keeps the colour and size of the text around it.

It comes from the Supplemental Arrows-B block, which some fonts leave out, so a few older devices may show an empty box.
