How the colours move
Each letter starts at a slightly different point on the colour wheel, and every frame turns the whole line a little further round it. The result is a band of colour that flows through your text and loops without a jump.
Choosing a background
Rainbow letters stand out best on black or very dark backgrounds, where every colour stays bright. On white, the yellows and light greens fade, so the dark presets are the safer choice for small text.
