QR code for a website link
Paste a web address to make a QR code that opens the page when someone scans it. If you leave out https://, it is added for you.
Fill in the form to make your code.
On a phone you can also press and hold the image to save it.
What the code contains
What the code contains
The code holds the web address exactly as you typed it, such as https://example.com/menu. Phones show the address before opening it, so a short, recognisable address builds trust. Only addresses that start with http:// or https:// are accepted; other kinds of links, which can open apps or run code, are refused.
Keep the address short
Every character makes the pattern denser. A short address gives larger squares that scan from further away and print well on ordinary printers. Remove tracking parameters you do not need, and consider a page on your own site with an easy address rather than a long one.
How to test it
Open your phone's camera, point it at the code on screen or on a test print, and tap the link that appears. Check that it opens the right page on mobile data as well as on Wi-Fi. If the page might move later, remember that a static code cannot be changed after printing.
Nothing leaves your device
The code is drawn in your browser. What you type is never sent to SymbolMint or stored, analytics record only which kind of code was downloaded, and we cannot see the codes you make or how often they are scanned.
