How the wings work
ʚ and ɞ are letters from the International Phonetic Alphabet, the closed open e and its reversed form, and side by side they look like a pair of wings. Whatever goes between them becomes the body: a heart, a star, a flower or a moon.
The classic text butterfly
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ is older internet text art, built from Latin and Cyrillic capital letters with combining strokes and hooks stacked on them. The font draws those marks, so it looks a little different on every device, and it is 8 characters long in Unicode terms, which counts against a name limit faster than it appears.
Butterflies in game names
Players often look for butterfly symbols for Fortnite, Valorant and Roblox names, and each game decides what its name field accepts. Because ʚ and ɞ are letters rather than symbols, name checks that refuse ★ or ♥ often let them through; the Fortnite and Roblox pages here cover those two games in more detail.
